Alifa Bandali

Alifa Bandali is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Institute for Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice (GRSJ). Dr. Bandali’s research focuses on feminist activism both in institutional and creative spaces. Her PhD thesis titled: Paid to care: Women’s experiences in non-profit/NGO work in Malaysia examined how women working in the non-profit/NGO sector saw themselves in their work and the meaningfulness of ‘good work’.
