Tributaries: ACAM Student Journal

Launched in 2017, Tributaries draws from the multidisciplinary origins of the UBC Asian Canadian and Asian Migration (ACAM) studies program, bringing together different platforms, mediums and genres to explore the diversity of our lived experiences, migration stories, identities, and community connections. We are committed to sharing the stories and voices of marginalized communities across the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class, ability and beyond.

We publish work from undergraduate and recently graduated students from any program or discipline. We welcome submissions in genres including, but not limited to: poetry, academic essays, creative prose, interviews, event/book reviews, visual art, film, audio, performance art, and other multimedia that experiments with form and genre.

Note: We are not a peer-reviewed journal and do not require submissions of academic work to meet a grade requirement for consideration. However, all submissions will undergo a revision process with editors as needed.
