Lunch with Dr. Ben Cheung

As part of ACAM’s larger faculty lunch series, we are inviting students to have lunch with Dr. Ben Cheung! The event will take place from February 2, 2021 from 12:30-1:30PM via zoom. While the ACAM team is disapointed that we will not be able to share space or food for this event, we hope for this to be a lunch break of sorts for students to gather and chat with faculty.

This event is a great opportunity for the larger network of ACAM affiliated students to meet each other and get to know Ben better! Whether you are an ACAM student, have taken an ACAM course, are currently registered in Ben’s ACAM320B, or are simply just interested in ACAM, we encourage you to join us for this chat.

Ben is a lecturer in the Department of Psychology and is in the process of teaching ACAM320B, a new course that focuses on Asian Canadian health. You can learn more about the course here: https://acam.arts.ubc.ca/acam320b/. You may have heard about Ben through his student engagement efforts, such as his twitter account or Bagel’s with Ben, his weekly conversational events. Watch a UBC video on Bagel’s with Ben here
