Amanda is a Han Chinese student and settler raised by immigrant-settler parents on the unceded, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish peoples. She is currently completing an undergraduate thesis towards her BA Hon. English, with a minor in Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies. Her literary and organizing interests include queering frameworks of love, kinship, and feeling in the Asian diaspora, along with the transformative potentials of queer-of-colour desire and “failure” (all in the context of critical race, gender, and sexuality).
