Kailey Tam is a UBC student of Cantonese descent, living on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples. Kailey is currently pursuing a degree in English Honours with a minor in Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies. Through her studies, she is interested in embodiment and liminality, and in particular, the embodied narratives and liminal spaces that Asian Canadians and immigrant-settlers occupy. A writer and poet, Kailey is passionate about the intersection of lived experience and creative expression and has self-published a poetry chapbook.
