The Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies (ACAM) program is thrilled to invite you to Ten Years of Asian Canadian Community Filmmaking, a special event celebrating a decade of impact and creativity on February 6, 2025!
Join us for an exciting lineup of short films created by students over the past ten years of ACAM 350: Asian Canadian Community-Based Media taught by award-winning filmmaker Alejandro Yoshizawa. The event will also feature a screening and brief discussion of the 2024 film Tsunagu, directed by ACAM 350 alumna and long-time community supporter Lucy Komori. The event will be followed by a light reception and some time for mix and mingle.
This event is free and open to all, and is the signature event of our ACAM 10 celebration. Space is limited so make sure to register to reserve a seat – we look forward to celebrating this milestone with all our students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community supporters!
RSVP is closed for this event.
